March 2019- Rome, Italy This March we spent a week in Rome! The weather was beautiful and so was the city! This is a huge city with so much history, so much to see...and eat! Everyday we had a full schedule of things to sight see as we wanted to see as much as possible. We spent our first day walking around the city and vising the Pantheon. Next we spent a full day in Vatican City, visiting all the museums, we made it to the top of the dome in the St Peter's Basilica! And we even got to see the Pope in St. Peter's Square! Our third day was spent in Ancient Rome vising the Colosseum, Forum, and Capitoline Hill. The following day was spent walking around the Borghese Gallery and shopping! After a few days in Rome, we rented a car and drove down to Pompeii. We spent the day walking around the city and took a trip to the top of Mt. Vesuvius. It was a tough walk up but so worth it! After our climb to the top we spent the night in Sorrento, and the following day drove through the Amalfi Coast which has the most breath taking views! So worth the trip!
